Parents as Teachers Day at the Capitol, March 4, 2009
Kansas PAT Day at the Capitol provides PAT programs an opportunity to talk with Kansas State legislators about the importance of Parents as Teachers in our communities. Legislators need information about our programs to make decisions about legislation that impacts Parents as Teachers.
Attendees will also:
- Hear PAT, KPATA, and legislative updates. Learn more advocacy tips from others.
- Visit with other programs and gain ideas from PAT program displays.
- Pick up PAT Updates and PAT gifts for legislators.
- Deliver PAT information to legislators and/or meet with legislators.
Each year is a pivotal year for early childhood funding in the state of Kansas. Legislators need to hear from PAT Stakeholders! They need to hear how PAT is making a difference to Kansas families!
